Grapes were harvested at 24°C. Fermented at 26 - 28°C for about 4 days. Pumped over 3 times daily during alcoholic fermentation. Malolactic fermentation was completed in tanks. The wine then spent 10 months in 300li (French made) American oak barrels (50% new) DESCRIPTION: Vanilla, coconut, plums and raspberries on the nose, followed by layers of ripe complex fruit and oak flavours on the palate. A bold well balanced wine with a long clean finish. Can mature for at least another 5 years.
